Tanker Shuttle Accreditation

The County of Brant Fire Department is tanker shuttle accredited. (Tanker-Shuttle-Accreditation.pdf)

This means that we can provide hydrant protected insurance gradings, even in areas of the county that are not protected with hydrants. Our fire service can pump a minimum of 900L/min within 5 minutes of first pump when we arrive. We can maintain that water flow for a period of two hours.

With this classification, our residents and commercial property owners should be eligible (depending on insurance companies) for rate reductions in the fire portion of their insurance.
