Building

The role of the Building Division is to exercise the powers and perform duties as required under the Building Code Act and the Building Code in connection with reviewing plans, inspecting construction and issuing permits and orders in accordance with the Building Code Act and the Building Code.

The Building Division is also responsible for public education regarding new information on construction requirements and regulations.
