The Planning Division provides support to Council on all planning
matters. In this capacity, the Division undertakes the following:
- handles all land-related development applications,excluding building
permits;
- prepares policies and regulations to guide future land use in the
County of Brant;
- researches factors that affect land use in the County
monitors and provides information on development activity in the County
of Brant;
- estimates population and employment growth and housing needs,
advises Council on issues that affect the growth and development of
the community
The Planning Division also provides staff support to the Committee
of Adjustment.
