Road Closure Notice - Remembrance Day Ceremonies in Brant

On Tuesday, residents are invited to gather in remembrance and reflection as the County of Brant hosts three Remembrance Day ceremonies in Burford, Paris, and St. George. Each ceremony will honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve our country. Please note that temporary road closures will be in effect in each community during the ceremonies to ensure the safety of participants and attendees.

Public Notice: Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE)

The Province of Ontario has announced the cancellation of the use of Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) cameras under Bill 56 – Building a More Competitive Economy Act, 2025. The change will take effect on November 14, 2025.

The two ASE cameras currently operating in the County of Brant — located on Silver Street in Paris (in front of North Ward Elementary School) and Beverly Street West in St. George (near the St. George Children’s Center) — will remain active until November 14. This supports the

Hey Brant, it’s almost that time of year again! Our snowplows are getting ready and our crews are set to hit the roads as soon as the snow falls.

Here are some winter driving tips to get home safely:

• Keep your distance - stay well back to give plows room and watch for flying snow or ice
