It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Storm Sewer Maintenance in Paris: January 21-22, 2025

Please be advised that the County of Brant will be conducting routine inspection and maintenance work on the Storm Sewer System in the following areas of Paris:
- Garden Crescent
- Rose Court
- Telfer Court
- Trillium Way
- Parkside Drive
The work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 21, and Wednesday, January 22, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Downtown Paris Phases and Detour Map Update

Enbridge Gas has begun work in downtown Paris, replacing natural gas infrastructure. This work is essential preparation for the Downtown Dig and is expected to last approximately 60 working days.
The Downtown Dig is proposed to begin once this work is complete and the following maps highlights the proposed project phases for the Dig, as well as detour routes.

2025 Floor Requests Are Now Open

The County of Brant is now accepting requests for indoor floor use for Spring/Summer 2025. The floor is available at the Burford Community Centre and the Gaukel Memorial Community Centre from April 7 to August 24, 2025.
The rates for 2025 are as follows:
- Youth: $68.50/hr
- Adult: $83.50/hr
- Full Floor Event: $999.50
- Half Floor Event: $763.75
- Hourly rate set up and tear down: $60.50/hr
