The County of Brant is Hosting the 2023 Ontario Small Urban Municipalities Conference

The County of Brant is pleased to announce it will host the Ontario Small Urban Municipalities Conference (OSUM) from April 26 - 28, 2023.

“The OSUM Conference will welcome close to 250 municipal leaders from across Ontario to examine and address today’s important issues facing small urban municipalities,” said Mayor David Bailey. “Hosting the event, here in Brant, is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the County, network with other small urban municipalities and learn from each other.”

Government of Canada supports County of Brant through the Tourism Relief Fund

The County of Brant received $99,250 to enhance outdoor recreation amenities. This is part of the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund, delivered by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). The Regional Tourism Organization received $5 million from FedDev Ontario to help local tourism organizations and businesses safely welcome back visitors, recover from the impacts of the pandemic and prepare for future growth.

The County of Brant co-hosted the 14th Municipal Agriculture Economic Development and Planning Forum on November 2 and 3 2022.
