The County of Brant will have a new Brant Transit service provider beginning January 2, 2024

The County of Brant would like to thank residents for sharing their feedback on transit in our community. Following public consultation, and with Council approval, we are pleased to announce that a new service provider will be operating Brant Transit beginning on January 2, 2024*. Transit service will be provided by Via Transportation.

Controlled Burn in Cainsville on Saturday

The County of Brant Fire Department will have a controlled burn this Saturday, November 25 at 1388 Colborne Street in Cainsville.
The controlled burn will be taking place at the house located on the property and will be an opportunity to train firefighters and officers. This training will focus on fire attacks, ventilation, search and rescue and will allow crew members to test out new equipment.

The final Urban Area Yard Waste Collection of the year will take place next week, November 27 to December 1, 2023
Yard waste curbside collection is offered to residential properties within urban areas. Leaf and Yard Waste is also free for disposal at the Landfill and Transfer Station for residential users.
