It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Snow Removal in Core Areas

With the significant snowfall over the past week, County roads staff will begin removing snow in our downtown core areas this week.
Work is weather dependent and will begin in the morning on:
- Paris – Wednesday, February 19 & Thursday, February 20 (Friday if needed)
- St. George – Thursday, February 20
- Burford – Thursday, February 20
Crews will be clearing snowbanks from the road allowance. Traffic will be flagged as needed—please drive with caution in work zones.

Riders are be notified of cancellations through their preferred communication method.

Environment Canada has issued a Winter Storm Warning for this weekend, with snowfall accumulations of 20 to 30 cm expected from this morning through Sunday evening.
