Urban Area Yard Waste Collection will take place next week, September 16-20, 2024
Yard waste curbside collection is offered to residential properties within urban areas. Leaf and Yard Waste is also free for disposal at the Landfill and Transfer Station for residential users.

Ontario Helping Build More Homes in the County of Brant

The Ontario government is investing $35M to enable the construction of new homes in St. George. The funding is being delivered through the first round of investments under the Housing-Enabling Water Systems Fund, which includes $970 million to help municipalities develop, repair, rehabilitate and expand drinking water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure.
This funding will support St. George Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Expansion. This project will enable 1,350 homes in St. George.

Garbage & Recycling Collection Delay Notice - Friday, September 6, 2024

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
