Park Patrol Cancellation Notice

Please be advised that Park Patrol is cancelled this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (August 27 – August 29, 2024). We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Final Week of Aquatics Season in the County of Brant

As summer beings to wind down in the County of Brant, the Paris Community Pool will have a modified drop-in schedule for the final week, August 26-31. The pool will close after Saturday, August 31 for the season. 

*Lane swim: After 10:30 am only two lanes will be available.

Splash Pads

Starting Monday, September 2, the Paris Splash Pad will operate Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm for the duration of September, weather dependent.

County of Brant appoints new General Manager of Development Services

The County of Brant is pleased to announce that Alysha Dyjach has been appointed as the General Manager of Development Services, effective August 12, 2024.

Paris Skate Park and Playground closed for Paris Drinks Fest

Please be advised that the Paris Skate Park and Playground, located at the Syl Apps Community Centre, will be closed from Thursday, August 15 at 5:00 pm to Sunday, August 18 at 10:00 am for Paris Drinks Fest.

Update: Highway 54 Reopened after Emergency Road Closure

Update - Friday, August 16, 2024. Highway 54 has reopened after an emergency road closure. 

Please be advised that on Thursday, August 15 to 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Highway 54 between Youell Street/Middleport Road and Brant County Road 22 will be closed for an emergency culvert replacement. Full details are listed below:
