Please be advised that the Mount Pleasant Drinking Water System has moved to green for Outdoor Water Use. The water supply system is operating normally.

The County of Brant is excited to announce the development of a Trails and Open Space Master Plan for the "North of the Nith" area. This beautiful natural peninsula, located along the north side of the Nith River near Paris, spans over 200 acres and is largely forested with diverse natural features. Currently, the area is enjoyed informally by community members for recreation and includes natural features like wetlands, floodplains, and the Nith River, which supports species at risk.

Paris Community Pool Closed for Mechanical Issues August 31

Please be advised that due to unexpected mechanical issues, the Paris Community Pool is closed today, Saturday, August 31, 2024. The pool is now closed for the season. The Paris splash pad will remain open.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
The St. George Splash Pad will close on Monday, September 2. Beginning Monday, September 2 the Paris Splash Pad will operate Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm for the duration of September, weather dependent.

New Crossing Guard Location in Paris
Rest Acres Road at Laurie Ann Lane/Hanlon Place
We are pleased to announce the addition of a new crossing guard at the pedestrian crossing on Rest Acres Road at Laurie Ann Lane/Hanlon Place, starting September 3, 2024. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance pedestrian safety in our community.

Garbage & Recycling Collection Delay Notice - Thursday, August 29, 2024

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
