Please do not place your garbage bags or bins on top of or behind snowbanks. Here's why:

  • Safety First: Snowbanks are a major slip and fall hazard for our dedicated collection crews.
  • Accessibility: It's difficult for collectors to see and safely reach items buried in or on top of high snow.
  • Avoid Missed Pickups: Bags on snowbanks can get blown away, freeze to the snow, or get accidentally buried by snowplows, leading to them being missed.
