Garbage & Recycling Collection Delay Notice - December 16

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

County of Brant Blue Box Program Transitioning to Circular Materials in 2025

The Blue Box Recycling program in the County of Brant will be transitioning to be operated by Circular Materials, a not-for-profit organization managing Ontario's extended producer responsibility (EPR) system. This change, effective January 1, 2025, aligns with Ontario's Blue Box Regulation (O. Reg. 391/21) to make producers responsible for recycling the materials they create.

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, the printed version of the calendar has not yet been distributed. We appreciate your patience and will mail calendars as soon as possible.
Also, to avoid unnecessary waste, printed copies are not currently available for pick-up at County of Brant Customer Service Offices or Community Centres. Updates will be shared as soon as they become available.
