Park Programs return to the County of Brant this Summer!

The County of Brant is excited to announce the return of a number of FREE Park Programs this summer! Programs include Movies in the Park, Music in the Parks and Park Patrol.

Update - Hillside Avenue and Race Street Sanitary Sewer Replacement

Please be advised that due to unforeseen circumstances, the work on Hillside Avenue and Race Street has not progressed as quickly as anticipated throughout the month of June. Rainy weather and unplanned repairs on Race Street have contributed to delays. Remaining works include placement of sod, surface asphalt and restoration of interlocking stone driveways. Remaining asphalt driveways are being completed by private property owners in partnership with the County.

• County of Brant customer service offices will be closed on Monday, July 1 and will re-open on Tuesday, July 2 at 8:30 am.

Road Closure Update – Maple Grove Road Reopened

Garbage & Recycling Collection Delay Notice - Tuesday, June 25, 2024

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.

If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.

Rest Acres Road and Hutchings Road Roundabout – Asphalt Paving

Please be advised that on Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27, from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, nightly road closures on Rest Acres Road and Hutchings Road will be in affect for asphalt paving:

• Rest Acres Road from Powerline Road to Highway 403
• Hutchings Road at Rest Acres Road

Public Notice: St. George Parking Lot

Please be advised the Municipal Parking Lot known as 2 Beverly Street West in St. George will be closed and/or operating at limited capacity starting on or around Thursday, June 27 for approximately 3 weeks in order to facilitate the completion of landscaping works on site.

Additional parking is located along Main Street South and the Municipal Lot at the corner of High Street & Main Street South, as well as a Municipal Lot located at 10 Main Street North. We apologize for the inconvenience.
