It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection by this evening.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.

The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) has shared the following Watershed Conditions Statement – Water Safety:
The current weather system crossing the watershed is bringing above freezing temperatures and approximately 30-40 mm of mixed snow and rain, resulting in increased river flows throughout the Grand River watershed.

Spring and Summer 2024 Floor Requests

The County of Brant is now accepting requests for indoor floor use for Spring/Summer 2024. The floor is available at the Burford Community Centre and the Gaukel Memorial Community Centre from April 8 to August 23, 2024.
Please submit your request by 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Any submissions received after the due date will be dealt with on a first come, first serve basis if floor time allows. Submit the request online via the County of Brant Floor Request Online Form.

Regular curbside collection will not occur tomorrow - Monday, January 1.
This week, curbside collection days will move to the following day. Example: Monday collection will move to Tuesday, Tuesday collection will move to Wednesday, etc.
Curbside Christmas tree collection will begin this week on your collection day. Trees must be free of bags and decorations.
Christmas tree collection will also be available the week of January 8 to January 12.
Please place your waste at the curb by 7:00 am.
