New school crossing guard location in Paris!

The County of Brant is excited to share a new school crossing has been added at Rest Acres Road and Cobblestone Drive in Paris, right at the roundabout! 

Crossing guards will be at this location before and after school to help everyone cross safely.

Brant Sports Complex Closure on Friday, August 29

Please be advised that the Brant Sports Complex (944 Powerline Rd, Paris) will be closed this Friday, August 29 from approximately 7:00 am to 10:00 am due to a required electrical shut down while Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are installed at the facility.

During this time the facility will not be open to the public and the Community Services Customer Service Offices will not be open. The Customer Service Office will re-open once power is restored to the facility.

Notice of Hydro Service Interruption – Burford Community Centre

Please be advised of new hydro installation at the Burford Community Centre on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. As part of this work, Hydro will be turned off starting at 9:00 am and is expected to be restored by 3:00 pm.

This outage will affect the following:

• Burford Community Centre facility
• Burford Splash Pad
• Public washrooms (indoor and outdoor)
