On Tuesday, December 5th the County of Brant celebrated volunteers throughout our communities at a Volunteer Recognition Ceremony at the TF Warren Group Cainsville Community Centre. Awards were presented to 52 community groups and individual volunteers.

Spring and Summer 2024 Ice Requests

The County of Brant is accepting 2024 Spring and Summer ice requests for the Brant Sports Complex. All requests will be considered and ice will be allocated in accordance with the County of Brant Sport Facility Allocation Policy after the January 16, 2024, 4:00 pm deadline. This policy along with the facility cancellation policy can be found on the Ice and Floor Rentals webpage.

Following public consultation, and with Council approval, we are pleased to announce that a new service provider will be operating Brant Transit beginning on January 2, 2024*. The County of Brant, ON, was awarded $5,820 from the Green Shovels Collaborative’s Invasive Phragmites Control Fund to combat the invasive plant, Phragmites.
