With the recent winter weather and more coming later this week, the County of Brant wants to remind residents about Safe Snow Removal.
Here are some friendly reminders for the snowy weather:
1. It is illegal to deposit snow from your property onto the road
Snow left on the roadway can cause serious injury to drivers and often requires plow operators to return to push the snow back.
2. Residents are responsible for the sidewalk in front of, alongside and behind your property.

The County of Brant is now accepting requests for the 2023 County of Brant Fields, Diamonds and Beach Volleyball Courts.
If you or your groups requires outdoor field use in 2023, please submit the request to the facility booking office by Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 4:00 pm.
All requests will be considered and fields will be allocated in accordance with the County of Brant, Sport Facility Allocation Policy after the March 1, 2023 deadline.

The County of Brant is looking to the community to help finish the $1.5 million dollar campaign for the new Cainsville Community Centre.
“We are so close to completing this campaign,” said Mayor David Bailey. “The community has come together for Cainsville and now we need to drive it home and raise the final $75,000.”
The idea for a new community centre was raised by community members to Council in 2015. In 2021, County Council approved construction for the new Cainsville Community Centre.
