The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) is terminating the Flood Warning messages previously in effect, and issuing a Flood Watch message for the entire Grand River watershed.

Peddie Bridge Rehabilitation

What and where is bridge construction happening?

The Peddie Bridge, located on Big Creek Road between Mulligan Road and County Road 22, will be closed for rehabilitation work.

The road will be closed on both sides of the bridge for the duration of the project. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and plan for possible delays.

- Tuesday, April 7, 2026 to November 2026.

- Rehabilitation of the bridge structure will prolong the life of the bridge and avoid a costly replacement.

The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) is issuing an upgraded Flood Warning message for the County of Brant.
- River flows are expected to reach Flood Warning Zone 2 on the Grand River from Glen Morris to Paris (Penman's Dam).
- River flows may reach Flood Warning Zone 3 on the Grand River from Paris (Penman's Dam) to Onondaga.

Public notice from the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) – Highway 403 and Rest Acres Road Ramp Closures
The MTO has advised that next week (March 30 to April 2), between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, intermittent ramp closures will be taking place on Highway 403 at Rest Acres Road (Hwy 24). Motorists should plan for delays if travelling in the area.
