Urban Area Yard Waste Collection - May 5-9

Friendly reminder that Urban Area Yard Waste Collection is next week, May 5-9!

Time to roll up your sleeves and get those yards spring-ready! Curbside yard waste collection is offered to residential properties within urban areas in the County of Brant. Materials are to be set out by 7:00 am on your regular collection day in paper bags/open top rigid containers and bundles of limbs/ branches under 7.5 cm (3 in.) in diameter (max. bundles size 2 ft x 4 ft.).⁠

Storm Sewer Maintenance April 30 to May 2, 2025

The County of Brant will be conducting routine inspection and maintenance work on the Storm Sewer System in the following areas of St. George:

• Margaret Drive
• Hampton Drive
• Windsor Drive
• Andrew Street
• Edward Avenue
• Scott Street
• Beverly Street East
• Beverly Street West
• Southampton Drive
• Sunnyside Drive
• Reid Street

The work is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, April 30 to Friday, May 2 between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.

The County of Brant is seeking feedback about the Cleaver Road Bridge

The Cleaver Road Bridge, located over Whitemans Creek between Colborne Street West and Robinson Road, was closed in July 2023 after a structural inspection, as part of the County’s Bridge Inspection Program, found it was no longer safe for vehicles. After further study, the County of Brant is now exploring options for the future of the bridge - and we want your feedback.
