Notice regarding Garbage and Recycling collection on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
It is anticipated that Garbage and Recycling in some of today’s collection areas will not be collected by 6:00 pm. Collection Crews are working diligently and anticipate to complete collection tonight.

The 2023 Community Grant Applications are now open!
Finance staff coordinate the collection, presentation and distribution of Council approved County of Brant grants each year.

The County of Brant has cancelled the Significant Weather Event on December 26, 2022 at 9:15 am. While storm clean up is still required, all roads are open and hydro has been restored to all affected residents in Brant.
Municipalities now have the ability to declare a "Significant Weather Event" which is defined as "an approaching or occurring weather hazard with the potential to pose a significant danger to users of the highways within a municipality."

Brant Transit will be closed on Friday, December 23 at 12:00pm

Due to weather conditions, Brant Transit will be closed starting at 12:00 pm for the remainder of the day.
- If you are currently out on a scheduled trip, your return trip will run as scheduled. Please be understanding as there may be delays, due to weather conditions.

Garbage and Recycling Curbside Collection has been cancelled for December 23, 2022 due to the forecast significant winter weather event.
The next collection for the Friday Collection Area will occur on the next regular collection day, December 30, 2022.
Additional garbage bags and recycling will be collected on the next collection day.
Also the Biggars Lane Landfill and Paris Transfer Station will be closed December 23 to 27 due to the weather event and holiday season.

The County of Brant has declared a Significant Weather Event starting at 5:00 am on Friday, December 23, 2022, due to the expected winter storm.
With this declaration, the following County of Brant Services will be affected:
County of Brant Customer Service Offices:County of Brant Customer Services Offices will be closed on Friday, December 23, 2022.
- Burford Customer Service office, located at 26 Park Avenue, Burford.
- Paris Customer Service office, located at 66 Grand River Street North, Paris.
