Protect your identity. Do not divulge any personal information over the phone.
In order to avoid scams, you can confirm a County of Brant employee by:
- Contacting the County of Brant at 519.44BRANT (519.442.7268), 1.855.44BRANT to verify we contacted you and to inquire about the work
- In-person, you can also verify by requesting the person’s County of Brant identification and looking for a County branded vehicle

A Heat Warning is in effect for the County of Brant

A Special Weather Statement has been issued for the County of Brant with the first heat event of the season.
Hot and increasingly humid weather is expected Monday into Tuesday.
These conditions pose a health risk when you are not used to the heat. Everyone is at risk from heat, especially older adults; infants and young children; and people with chronic illnesses.

Storm Clean Up

The fast moving storm has left trees, limbs and branches on the road. Roads staff are currently deployed clearing roads by priority. It may take several hours to reach all areas as this event was widespread. Some roads are closed if trees are in direct contact with hydro lines. Stay clear of any downed hydro lines. Clean up may take a few days. Thank you for your patience! Stay safe!
