Filming is returning to downtown Paris!
Parking and road disruptions are expected from May 6 to May 10, 2024, particularly on May 9, when filming is set to occur. Downtown businesses will remain open.
Street dressing for the filming will take place from May 6 to May 8 from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and teardown will be completed by May 10 at 6:00 pm. Notices will be issued by the production company to residents and businesses in the impacted areas.

The County of Brant Fire Department is holding a Dedication Ceremony to honour and pay tribute to County of Brant Firefighters from the Cainsville Fire Station who are no longer with us.
Fittingly, the ceremony will be held on International Firefighters Day.
The Ceremony will honour fallen Firefighters Troy Cummerson and Dave Monkhouse, as well as past members of the Cainsville Fire Station: Mike Couperus, Harold Rutherford, Larry Brown, Roger Tottle, and Murray Thompson.

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

The County of Brant is excited to welcome swimmers back for the 2024 season! The Paris Community Pool offers a variety of programs including drop-in swims, swimming lessons, special events and more.

The County of Brant is excited to announce that its Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy has received unanimous approval following the Tuesday, March 26, 2024 Council meeting.
