The County of Brant Spring Newsletter has sprung!
Starting today, County of Brant residents can find the Spring newsletter in their mailbox, as well as online at brant.ca/SpringNewsletter. Copies are also available in County of Brant community centres and customer service offices.
The spring newsletter features information such as:
- Local news and updates
- Spring recreational program information
- April to June Special Events
- 2024 Communications Survey (also available at EngageBrant.ca/2024Communications)

Notice Regarding Waste Collection - April 11, 2024

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

The County of Brant is excited to announce upcoming filming activities in our community. Please be aware of the following schedules and locations and plan your activities accordingly.
Customer Service Offices Remain OpenThe Paris Customer Service office has been dressed for production purposes, but still remains open to the public for information and County services.

Brant Transit Launches New Online Booking System

The County of Brant is delighted to inform Brant Transit riders that as of April 10, Brant Transit has introduced a convenient, user-friendly online booking system. In addition to using the Brant Transit App or by calling the call centre at 226.773.9347, you can now book your rides online, up to 14 days in advance.

County of Brant 2024-2025 Fall/Winter Ice Requests

The County of Brant is currently accepting requests for the 2024-2025 Fall/Winter ice season (September 16, 2024 to March 28 or 30, 2025). All requests will be considered and ice will be allocated in accordance with the County of Brant, Sport Facility Allocation Policy after the May 16th deadline.

Beginning Wednesday, April 10, 2024, The County of Brant will be conducting routine maintenance work on the Sanitary Sewer System in Paris the following areas:
- Acres Street
- Chapel Street
- Court Drive
- Daugaard Avenue
- Dundas Street West
- Edith Street
- Long Lane
- Weston Street
- Chapel Street and Main Street

The County of Brant boasts a wide variety of recreation programs for all ages during the Spring and Summer, including:
