The County of Brant is implementing a 40 km/h speed limit in select neighbourhood zones over the next three years as part of the Brant Safe Streets Strategy and in alignment with the Transportation Master Plan.
This initiative supports safer streets in residential areas - particularly those near schools, seniors’ facilities, and pedestrian zones - and responds to ongoing concerns about vehicle speeds and traffic safety.
