In 2025, downtown Paris on Grand River Street North will undergo major reconstruction. This level of construction in a downtown occurs every 75-100 years. The County of Brant is pleased to announce that it will be entering a 10-year service agreement with the City of Brantford for fire dispatch services, effective July 1, 2024. This move comes as the County prepares for the mandatory transition to the Next Generation 911 (NG91-1) dispatch system by the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) deadline of March 4, 2025. REGARDING WASTE COLLECTION

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
