2025 Road Construction Projects in Paris

Garbage & Recycling Collection Delay Notice - February 20, 2025

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.

If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.

Snow Removal in Core Areas

With the significant snowfall over the past week, County roads staff will begin removing snow in our downtown core areas this week.

Work is weather dependent and will begin in the morning on:

• Paris – Wednesday, February 19 & Thursday, February 20 (Friday if needed)
• St. George – Thursday, February 20
• Burford – Thursday, February 20

Crews will be clearing snowbanks from the road allowance. Traffic will be flagged as needed—please drive with caution in work zones.
