We are seeking community input on dog parks within the County of Brant to help improve operations, service, and access policies.

Currently the County of Brant only has one designated dog park, the Simply Grand Dog Park, located at the Green Lane Sports Complex, 8 Green Lane in Paris.

Please be advised that Bethel Road from Folsetter Drive to Pottruff Road will be closed for Road Reconstruction starting Monday, April 14.

The County of Brant is currently accepting requests for the 2025-2026 Fall/Winter ice season (September 15, 2025 to March 29, 2026). All requests will be considered and ice will be allocated in accordance with the County of Brant, Sport Facility Allocation Policy after the May 15th 4:00 pm deadline. Household Hazardous Waste Day this Saturday, April 12

The first 2025 Household Hazardous Waste Day for County residents will take place this Saturday, April 12, at the Mohawk Street Landfill (20 Morrison Road, Brantford) from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Household hazardous waste includes materials such as paint, solvents, used oils, batteries, and fluorescent light bulbs. These items should not be disposed of in household garbage due to their harmful effects on the environment, humans, and animals.
