The 2025 County of Brant Aquatics Guide is coming May 1!
We are so excited to welcome swimmers back for the 2025 season! The Paris Community Pool offers a variety of programs including drop-in swims, swimming lessons for all ages, special events and more.

- Arnold Street
- Ball Street
- Brock Street
- Burwell Street
- Chapel Street
- Church Street
- Dumfries Street
- Dundas Street West
- Grand River Street South
- King Edward Street

- Mount Elgin Street

Sanitary Sewer Maintenance April 9, 2025

The County of Brant will be conducting routine maintenance work on the Paris Sanitary Sewer System in the following areas:
- Folsetter Drive
- Bethel Road
- Rest Acres Road
- Powerline Road
The work is scheduled to take place during the day on Wednesday, April 9, between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

GRCA Flood Warning on April 4, 2025

The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) is issuing a Flood Warning message for the City of Brantford, Six Nations of the Grand River and Haldimand County.
A mixed precipitation event resulted in greater than 100 mm of total precipitation in many areas and increased runoff causing flooding in some parts of the Grand River watershed. The windy weather is here!
Strong winds may blow over blue boxes and garbage containers, causing materials to scatter. If this happens, please gather the blown items and set them out for collection next week. Unfortunately, collection crews cannot pick up scattered materials during their routes.

Penman's Pass Trail Maintenance

Please be advised that the sloped trail and parts of Penman's Pass in Paris will be closed for maintenance beginning in early April 2025. These improvements are expected to take approximately 12 days to complete, weather permitting. The stairs and bridge will remain open during this maintenance period for pedestrian access.

Park and River Access Closures on April 3, 2025

Please be advised that the following County of Brant parks and river access points are closed due to flooding until further notice:
- Bean Park in Paris
- Optimist Park in Paris
- Eric Thomlinson Access Point in Glen Morris
We urge the public to stay cautious around all bodies of water. With current weather conditions, rivers and creeks are flowing quickly and banks are particularly slippery posing significant risks. Stay safe!

The Downtown Dig April Update and Open House Tonight

Please note the Grand River Street North Road Reconstruction scheduled to begin next week has been postponed to approximately the end of April to accommodate the completion of Enbridge’s natural gas infrastructure replacement project. The reconstruction is phase 2 of the Downtown Dig Project.
