County of Brant services may be affected by Family Day Holiday hours. Please note the following changes to services on Monday, February 17, 2025:

Garbage & Recycling Collection Delay Notice - February 11, 2025

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.

If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

A Cold Alert has been Issued for January 31, 2025

The Medical Officer of Health for Grand Erie Public Health (formerly the Brant County Health Unit) has issued a cold alert for the County of Brant. Temperatures are expected to drop below -15°C, without wind chill.

Automated Speed Enforcement Coming into Effect in the County of Brant

Through the County of Brant’s Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) program, fines will begin to be issued at the first location, on Silver Street in Paris, beginning Monday, February 3, 2025. Over the last few weeks, County of Brant homeowners that are connected to County of Brant municipal water and/or sewer systems have received a mailing from Service Line Warranties of Canada about homeowners’ responsibility to maintain the service lines connecting their home to County utilities.
