Community Centre Closures - February 13, 2025

Closures Update

The following County of Brant Community Centres will be closed until 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

• Burford Community Centre 
• Syl Apps Community Centre
• Brant Sports Complex 
• Gaukel Memorial Community Centre
• TF Warren Group Cainsville Community Centre

Programs are cancelled at these locations. County of Brant staff are reaching out to user groups, please contact your organizer for updates.

Program Cancellations, February 12, 2025

Please be advised that the following registered and drop-in Recreation programs are cancelled for this evening, Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

• Drop-in Children's Dodgeball

Garbage & Recycling Collection Delay Notice - February 12, 2025

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.

If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the County of Brant

Snow is in the forecast, Brant!

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the County of Brant this evening through Thursday morning, with total snowfall amounts of 15 cm possible and a risk of freezing rain. Blowing snow with reduced visibility is also expected. 

County of Brant road crews are closely monitoring the weather and are fully prepared to respond if the storm impacts our area.
