The County of Brant is pleased to share several activities taking place in Brant on Sunday, July 28th in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the invention of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell.

Garbage & Recycling Collection Delay Notice - Tuesday, July 23, 2024

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Please be advised that on July 24, the County of Brant will be conducting routine maintenance work on the Sanitary Sewer System in the following areas in Paris:
- Mechanic Street, from West River Street to the Mechanic Street Bridge
- Mechanic Street Bridge, from Mechanic Street to Lions Park
The work is scheduled to take place during the day on Wednesday, July 24, between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Garbage and Recycling Collection Update – July 19, 2024

The County’s Garbage and Recycling Collection contractor anticipates that all Garbage and Recycling collection for this week will be completed by 6:00 pm.
The few areas not collected on Thursday and the Friday collection will be collected today.
