Please be advised that due to the winter storm that is expected for our area the Gymnastics program held at Paris District High School is cancelled for tomorrow, Saturday, March 4. All program participants have been contacted by email.For updates on other programs taking place at County of Brant facilities we encourage you to reach out to your program organizer for more information.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Brant

A snowstorm is on the way! The snowfall accumulation and winds are predicted to be intense, at times. Drifting snow is expected. The Road Crews will be fully deployed using all available staff and equipment to clear the snow. We ask for your patience as we plow routes based on their priority. Main travel routes may need to be cleared several times.

County of Brant Passes the Official 2023 Budget

The County of Brant Council has approved the 2023 Budget.
“Through many conversations and careful thought, County of Brant Council has approved the budget for 2023,” said Mayor David Bailey. “We found a balance between meeting the needs of the community while ensuring we are acting in a financially responsible manner.”
County of Brant Council approved an increase of 5.8% to the municipal property tax rate resulting in an increase of approximately $184.44 for the median home per year.
