Public Notice - 2024 Sanitary Sewer Maintenance May 23-24 - Paris - Zone 1-2

The County of Brant will be conducting routine maintenance work on the Sanitary Sewer System in the following areas:
- Chapel Street
- Court Drive
The work is scheduled to take place during the day on Thursday, May 23 to Friday, May 24 between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Did you know that the Brant County Health Unit offers free well water testing for residents whose drinking water comes from a private well?
Water samples are tested for two types of bacteria: total coliforms and E. coli.
- Total coliforms. These bacteria are often found in animal waste, sewage, soil and vegetation. If they are in your drinking water, it means contaminated surface water may be entering your well.

It is anticipated Garbage and Recycling in some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up by 5:00 pm today. Collection Crews are working diligently and are hopeful to complete collection today.
If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Set your alarms! Registration for 2024 Pre-Season Swimming Lessons opens tomorrow, May 14, at 8:30 am.
The Paris Community Pool offers a variety of programs including swimming lessons, fitness classes, special events and more. The County of Brant pool and splash pads will open for the season on Saturday, June 1.
