Heritage Driving Tours

  • Heritage Driving Tour Information & Map -The County of Brant Heritage Driving Tour covers over 130 properties and a total distance of over 200 km. The tour is based on years of research and covers County of Brant highlights including Bell Homestead, the Battle of Malcolm Mills, the site of the last land battle on Canadian soil against a foreign power and the home of poet E. Pauline Johnston. Use the Heritage Driving Tour brochure to guide yourself through this tour, available in local stores, museums and tourist attractions for free, or you can call 1-888-250-2296.

Heritage Walking Tours

  • Downtown Paris Historical Walking Tour -  Join the Paris Museum for a historical walking tour of the Upper and Lower Town in Paris, Ontario. These guided tours are a great way to discover the history and culture of our beautiful community. Come out for a stroll with us, and spend a morning soaking in the atmosphere and heritage of the town of Paris. 
  • Explore Paris Like a Local Tour - Tasty Road Trips has curated a self-guided walking and tasking experience. This self-guided walking experience in downtown Paris, Ontario includes sips, sweets and savoury tastings for every paid guest on tour. Your Itinerary will offer history of this town, scenic views, must visit shops and best selfie photo op locations. 
  • Mount Pleasant Historical Walking Tour -Through the early 1800s, Mount Pleasant was a prosperous and cultured settlement with flourishing farms, inns, mills, schools, a drill hall and commercial establishments. The walking tour starts at the corner of Mount Pleasant and Burtch Roads, taking you to significant 19th century period houses, churches and sites. The road you follow is part of the Long Point Trail, an old Indian trail stretching from the Grand River to Lake Erie.
