Hosting an event? If you are planning a special event in the County of Brant, you must submit a Special Event Application at least 90 days before the event. Learn more at our Special Events Permit page.
Promote your event with the County of Brant
County of Brant Tourism is pleased to assist event organizers with event promotion! See below for how you can promote your event in the County of Brant, for free!
Digital Promotions
- Social Media - Be make sure to tag us, so that we can reshare your posts on our Tourism social media channels, @branttourism1 (Instagram), @branttourism (Facebook).
- Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) - County of Brant will select marquee regular events to add to FEO profile
- Online calendar – events.brant.ca
- Digital newsletter (selected events only) – Digitally sent out to all County of Brant subscribers
Print Promo
We are pleased to offer a seasonal promotional schedule for Special Events in 2024! This promotion will include:
- Printed Newsletters - County of Brant’s quarterly newsletter (selected events only) – Printed and mailed out to all County of Brant residences
- Posters - Large quarterly seasonal posters placed in key community locations (printed at the start of March, May, August, and November)
- Flyers – Letter-sized posters printed in-house every 2-3 months as handouts to be picked up in our Community Centres, Customer Service Offices and facilities

| Spring Events that take place in April, May and early June |
| To be featured in our Spring promotional package, submit your events to the online calendar by February 28. Promotions will be released in March. |
| Summer events that take place in later June, July and August |
| For inclusion in our Summer promotional package, submit your events by April 17. The promotional campaign will launch in June. |
| Fall Events that take place in September, October and November |

To be considered for our Fall promo package, submit your events to the online calendar by July 12. Promotions will commence in August. |
| Winter events that take place in December 2024 and January/February 2025 |
| Submit your events by October 18 to be eligible for our Winter promotional package. The promotion will be rolled out in November. |
How to Participate:
- Submit your event to our Online Calendar
- You will be asked to create an account or log into your existing account.
- Your submission on the online calendar serves as the entry point for consideration in our special event promotional package. Remember to tag us on social media - @branttourism1 on Instagram and @branttourism on Facebook so we can reshare details about your event.
Please note, we only accept listings for events located within the County of Brant and the City of Brantford. However, the promotional package is exclusively for events occurring in the County of Brant.
