Farm buildings include but are not limited to barns with or without livestock, manure storage facilities, grain bins, silos, farm workshops, greenhouses, horse riding and training facilities, and bunkhouses designed to house seasonal workers.
Farm Building Permit
A farm building is a term defined in Division A, Part 1 of the Ontario Building Code as all or part of a building that contains an agricultural occupancy.
An agricultural occupancy is all or part of a building that is located on land that is associated with and devoted to the practice of farming, and is used for the purpose of producing crops, raising farm animals, or preparing, marketing, storing or processing agricultural products.

Bunkhouse Permit
A permit is required to construct a new camp for the housing of workers/bunkhouse, or conversion of a dwelling into a bunkhouse.
