Water and Sewer Connections Permit

Water and sanitary sewer connection permits are required when a water or sanitary sewer service is constructed, repaired, or altered on private property.

  • Water and Sewer Connections Package (PDF)

The Public Works Department administrate and issues a water and sanitary sewer connection permit, if any works are to be constructed in the municipal right away, including but not limited to connection to the water main or municipal sanitary sewer. The Ontario Building Code regulates the installation and inspection of a water and/or sanitary sewer connection on private property.
