Salute to Brant is back and in-person!
After another year of pandemic challenges, the County of Brant's Economic Development team has decided to dedicate this years ‘Salute to Brant Business’ event to celebrating the resiliency and strength of the entire County of Brant Business Community. This year we will not present awards for individual performances and instead use this time to reconnect, network and celebrate the brighter days ahead.

The evening will include:
- Keynote address from renowned speaker Brock Dickinson, How to Thrive in a Time of War, Disease, Inflation and Supply Chain Collapse
- Locally catered finger foods and beverages served while networking
- Samples from local breweries and cideries
- Networking and exchanging of news and ideas

About Brock
Brock Dickinson is an Assistant Director of the Economic Development Program at the University of Waterloo, and has worked in local economic development for 25 years. He is currently the Entrepreneur in Residence and an Adjunct Professor with the University.
In his How to Thrive in a Time of War, Disease, Inflation and Supply Chain Collapse address, Brock takes a look at the sometimes frightening world of tomorrow, and how we can position our businesses and our communities for success in this dangerous new reality. This session will surprise, alarm and enlighten – but as always, Brock promises a few laughs along the way!
Background
Each year, the County of Brant Economic Development and Tourism division hosts the regions premiere business recognition event. Annually, Salute to Brant Business brings together leaders within the local business community, elected officials, community influencers, and various industry experts to celebrate the progress and achievements of business in the County of Brant, and share industry insights.
