Display Fireworks
Display fireworks are type F.2, high hazard firework articles that are classed under the Canadian Explosives Act and Regulations, designed for use by professionals holding a Fireworks Operator Certificate. These articles include but not limited to aerial shells, cakes, roman candles, waterfalls, lances and wheels.
They also include what the Explosives Act calls "high hazard fireworks generally having a practical use". These include large distress signals, sound, pyrotechnic and smoke signals, railway track signals, distress and line-throwing rockets, salutes, theatrical effects and wildlife control devices.
A permit is required to Display Fireworks.
