The holiday season in the County of Brant wouldn’t be complete without the magic of our Santa Claus Parades! We’re proud to celebrate the season with three festive parades, each bringing its own small-town charm, community spirit, and plenty of Christmas cheer.

Get ready to experience the magic of the season as Lions Park in Paris transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland!
- Join us for the Holiday Lights Kick-Off Event on Friday, November 21 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and be among the first to see the park light up for the holidays.
Enjoy a festive evening filled with sparkling displays, holiday music, warm drinks and community cheer as we celebrate the start of the holiday season in Paris. Bring your family, friends, and neighbours for a night that’s sure to make spirits bright!
The lights will continue to shine throughout the season from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm daily for the month of December — so come stroll through and enjoy the glow all winter long.

Holiday Decorating Photo Contest
The County of Brant is inviting the community to join us in celebrating the holiday season and spreading cheer across Brant by taking part in the Holiday Decorating Photo Contests!
Here’s how you can participate:
- Snap a photo of your decorated home, yard, business or neighbourhood in the County of Brant.
- Submit your photo to the Engage Brant website under the appropriate category listed below.
- Encourage your friends, family and neighbours to visit the page and give your photo a “thumbs up” to vote.
- A winner in each category will receive a $100 gift card to a County of Brant business of their choice!
Photo contest categories and details include:
- Best Traditional Display – A timeless, cozy, classic holiday look.
- Clark Griswold Award – For the “go big or go home” decorator!
- Santa’s Workshop Award – Best kid-friendly, whimsical display.
- Neighbourhood Spirit Award – For a block or group effort that shines together.
- Best Business Display – For local shops or offices joining in the fun.
- Best Theme Display – Think The Grinch, Elf, Frozen or The Polar Express.
The contest is now open. Voting closes on December 31, 2025, and winners will be announced the week of January 5, 2026. Please note that this contest is open to County of Brant residents and businesses only. Visit engagebrant.ca/holidays2025 to learn more and submit your photos.
