Accessibility Advisory Committee

The Accessibility Advisory Committee offers guidance on a range of issues related to accessibility. This includes but is not limited to advising and offering recommendations on the design of various facilities like playgrounds, buildings, washrooms, trails and paths of travel, parking lots, and approval of grant projects. The committee also provides insights on enhancing accessibility at upcoming events and identifies areas for improvement within the County. All of these recommendations are made in alignment with the standards set forth under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

Meeting Schedule

The Accessibility Advisory Committee meets at the call of the chair in addition to scheduled meetings.
