The County of Brant is committed to serving all members of our community equally when participating in our Recreation Programs. Our FAIR Brant program (see details below) supports this commitment.
FAIR Brant - Fun, Adapted, Inclusive, Recreation |
FAIR Brant will provide participants with adapted and inclusive opportunities within already existing programs and services in the County of Brant. These programs will include the Gymnastics Program, General Camps (Winter, March Break, & PA Day), Summer Camp, Aquatics Programs and After School Programs.
FAIR Brant will aim to provide physical activity and social inclusion for children with disabilities.
FAIR Brant Friendly Programs: These inclusive programs have been designed for a wide range of abilities and, accommodations will be made to fit the individual needs of the participants. The staff in these programs have been trained in inclusive practices and additional support may be available.
FAIR Brant Class: These classes are designed for children of all abilities who need extra support to be successful in a recreation program. Classes have a small child to instructor ratio, and focus on achieving individual goals at the child’s pace. The staff in these classes have received training in working with children of differing abilities.
