Annual Report
The County of Brant is pleased to share the 2024 Fire Services Annual Report.
The 2024 Fire Services Annual Report provides information regarding the many services of the County of Brant Fire Department and includes our core fire protection service levels, including public education, fire safety inspection and Fire Code enforcement, and emergency response.
Highlights include long and exemplary service over a 25-to-35-year tenure to the County of Brant Fire Department, progress on the new North Paris Station #9, Superior Tanker Shuttle Service (STSS) Accreditation 2024-2029, and the Dedication Ceremony held at the Cainsville Fire Station to honour and pay tribute to firefighters from the station who have passed away. Fittingly the ceremony was held on International Firefighters Day.

Tanker Shuttle Accreditation
The County of Brant Fire Department is Tanker Shuttle Accredited (PDF).
This means that we can provide hydrant protected insurance gradings, even in areas of the county that are not protected with hydrants. Our fire service can pump a minimum of 900 L/min within five minutes of first pump when we arrive. We can maintain that water flow for a period of two hours.
With this classification, our residents and commercial property owners should be eligible (depending on insurance companies) for rate reductions in the fire portion of their insurance.
