To minimize lineups and for the safety of staff and those attending, an appointment is required to attend the Household Hazardous Waste Event.

What to bring
Maximum acceptable container size is 20 Liters (5 gallons)
From your workbench
- Adhesives, glues, resins
- Hobby Supplies, artist supplies
- Latex paints and oil paints (paint cans that are empty and dry can go in your blue box)
- Stains, thinners and stripper
From your garage
- Motor oil and oil filters
- Engine coolant/antifreeze
- Portable fire extinguishers
- Car batteries
- Transmission fluids
- Waste fuel (kerosene, gasoline)
From your yard
- Insecticides, weed killers, poisons
- Pesticides
- Propane cylinders and tanks
- Swimming pool chemicals
- Wood preservatives
From your house
- Aerosol cans
- Cleaners, spot removers
- Hearing aid (button) batteries
- Rechargeable and single use batteries
- Fluorescent light bulbs (tubes, CFLs, and ballasts)
- Thermostats and other mercury containing devices
- Prescription medicines/syringes
- Photo chemicals, chemistry sets
What not to bring
- Ammunition, fireworks, explosives
- Expanding Foam Cylinders
- Infectious and biological waste
- Household appliances or items containing refrigerant
- Radioactive waste
- Unknown compressed gas cylinders
- Unidentified PCB containing items
- Tires and eWaste
