School Recycling Collection

If a school is located on an existing collection route, the school must provide a written request for service to the County of Brant.

Frequency

Once approved, the collection will follow the same schedule as the residential program.

Quantity

Unlimited recycling can be set out in acceptable recycling containers and large 360 litre roll out carts for collection. The owner is responsible for purchasing and maintaining roll out carts. All carts must be approved by the County of Brant.

Set out requirements

• School must be located on an existing residential collection route
• Material must be set out along municipal right of way
• Material must be set out by 7:00 am on collection day
• Weight limit is 20 kg (45 lbs) per container unless 360 litre carts are used
• Loose material will not be collected
