County of Brant Community Centres
Effective Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., the government has issued a provincewide Stay-at-Home order requiring everyone to remain at home except for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services (including getting vaccinated), for outdoor exercise , or for work that cannot be done remotely.
Community centres and arenas are required to close during the stay-at-home order. All facility rentals will be cancelled during this time. Staff will contact any groups who have a booking during this period. Your patience is appreciated. Credits will be applied to accounts where applicable. Rentals after this time period will remain in our system, pending future directives. Groups may reach the Facility Booking staff through email at facilitybooking@brant.ca or by phone 519.442.1944 x 3221.
Outside Jurisdiction Orders |
As directed by the Brant County Health Unit, only patrons from our local region including the County of Brant, City of Brantford and Six Nations of the Grand River are able to access recreational services at County facilities. However, individuals who live in other regions who are already registered to play hockey for a County of Brant league/team are permitted to play in County facilities. Teams from other regions are not permitted to play in County facilities (no matter what colour their region is designated under the Province of Ontario COVID-19 Framework). These orders are in effect until at least March 19, 2021 and may be extended by the Ministry of Health. |
