Welcome to the Cainsville Community Centre!
The new Cainsville Community Centre, located at 15 Ewart Ave., was approved for construction by County of Brant Council in October, 2021.
The proposal for a new community centre first came to Council in 2015, as the current Cainsville Community Centre is aging and no longer meets the community’s capacity needs. It was agreed upon, through public meetings, that a more modern and larger community centre to host community events and a gathering place for the community would benefit not only the Cainsville community but the County of Brant, as a whole.
The new Cainsville Community Centre will be designed with nature and comfort in mind. Approximately 9,200 sq.ft, the single storey building will include a modern and transformable community hall, meeting room, spacious lobby and an outdoor covered patio that will host many unforgettable events. 350 people can be accommodated in the new Community Centre.
The Community Centre will blend with the natural environment and showcase sustainable design features such as solar energy, energy efficient fixtures and equipment and electric car charging stations.
Reid and Deleye Contractors Ltd. was awarded the $5.1 million dollar construction tender. The "A Place to Gather" fundraising campaign has been launched to help offset the total building costs.

On Friday, November 5, 2021, the County of Brant hosted a private ground breaking ceremony to celebrate the new Cainsville Community Centre. Construction is expected to be completed by early 2023
