RSVP - Responsible Safe Visitation Plan
In our beautiful community, we have made Responsible Safe Visitation our Priority and we ask that you do too! When is it safe to do so, the County of Brant encourages residents to have a Responsible Safe Visitation Plan (RSVP) when planning a trip to our local towns.
The RSVP in Brant initiative focuses on consistent messaging, education and visit planning to ensure responsible, safe visitation. It promotes and supports safer interactions while allowing for business to be conducted.
This includes:
- Scheduling your visit. Brant retail stores and restaurants have limited capacity. By booking your store appointments and making restaurant reservations ahead of time, business owners are able to properly plan their day and can ensure you are able to visit.
- Wear a mask. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Province of Ontario requires the use of a face covering (non-medical mask, such as a cloth mask) in public indoor spaces and whenever physical distancing is a challenge.
- Kindly keep half a blue canoe between me and you. During the pandemic, it's important to stay at least two metres away from anyone who you do not live with. Did you know that two metres is exactly half the size of a blue canoe?
- Wash your hands. Wash your hands often, especially when visiting public places.
- Stay home if you are feeling unwell. Feeling unwell? Please reschedule your visit.
