Downtown Dig Project Phases
The Downtown Dig is a major project to rebuild and revitalize Grand River Street and downtown Paris. Work is being done in phases to improve the road, replace aging underground services, and create wider, more accessible sidewalks. Our goal is to make downtown safer, more attractive, and easier to enjoy—for everyone who lives, works, or visits here. Stay tuned for updates as each phase moves forward!

Phases of the Downtown Dig
This level of construction in a downtown occurs every 75-100 years. It includes replacing critical major infrastructure which will ensure the longevity of the thriving downtown for decades to come. The final result will be beautiful, functional and accessible for all.
More information on the upcoming phases will be available to the public in 2026. Please look back for updates and follow the Downtown Dig on Facebook and Instagram and subscribe to updates on the Engage Brant project page.
