2023 Holiday Hours and Closures

The County of Brant will be closed for the upcoming holiday on Friday, December 22 at 12:00 pm and will re-open on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. We wish you a very happy holiday season!

County of Brant customer service offices will be closed on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm and will re-open on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Garbage and Recycling:

Regular curbside collection will not occur on Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1, 2024. During these weeks, curbside collection will move to the following day. Example: Monday collection will move to Tuesday, Tuesday collection will move to Wednesday, etc.

Place your waste at the curb by 7:00 am.

Christmas Tree Pick Up/Drop Off:

Curbside Christmas tree collection will occur during the first two weeks of January on your regular collection day. Trees must be free of bags and decorations.

Tipping fees for Christmas trees at the Landfill are waived from December 26 to January 31.

The Biggars Lane Landfill and Paris Transfer Station will be closed on:
