• County of Brant Customer Service Offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 at 12:00 pm and will re-open on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 8:30 am.

Garbage and Recycling:

With Christmas and New Year’s holidays falling on a regular collection day this year, garbage and recycling collection will be completed one day later. For example, if your regular collection day is Wednesday, December 25, your garbage will be collected on Thursday, December 26.

Curbside Christmas tree collection will occur during the weeks of January 6 - 10 and January 13 - 17, 2025. To ensure your tree is collected, it must be at the curbside by 7:00 am on your regular collection day and free from decorations and plastic bags. Bagged trees will not be collected.

If you miss your collection day, your tree can be taken to either the Paris Transfer Station or Biggars Lane Landfill. Tipping Fees will be waived for Christmas trees from December 26, 2024, to January 31, 2025.

Please be advised that the Waste Management Facilities will be closed December 25 - 26, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
