400m of new sidewalk installed in Glen Morris

We are excited to share that the County of Brant has installed 400 meters of new sidewalk in the quaint village of Glen Morris!  This project, completed in September 2025, improves community connectivity and provides safer walking routes for residents.

The new sidewalk connects residents to Glen Morris Public School, enhancing safe access for children and guardians. It also leads to the Glen Morris Library, making it easier for everyone to reach community spaces.

Tactile walking plates have also been added at crosswalks to support pedestrian navigation.

This is just one of many projects underway to enhance connectivity, accessibility, and mobility in the County of Brant. We will continue to investigate local sidewalk connectivity gaps and will be completing similar projects over the next several years in other communities.
