Please be advised of a lane closure on Church Street West in Scotland beginning Tuesday, September 3. The lane closure will occur in the eastbound lane between Royal Troon Drive and Simcoe Street. Full details are listed below:

Location: Eastbound lane between Royal Troon Drive and Simcoe Street

Work Dates: Tuesday, September 3, 2024, until project completion

Work Performed by: Gedco Excavating for County of Brant

Reason: Reconstruction

Details:

• Westbound lane is open to traffic
• Westbound traffic is to exit at Royal Troon Drive or Finlay Street
• Eastbound traffic from Maple Avenue South is to exit at Augustus Street or Royal Troon Drive
• Pedestrians must use the sidewalk on the north side of Church Street West
• Pedestrians must cross at the pedestrian crossing with the crossing guard during school hours
• Student drop off will be permitted between the school driveways on the south side of the road or from Scotland United Church parking lot
