Please note the following changes to County of Brant services and facility hours for the Civic Holiday on Monday, August 4, 2025.
County of Brant Customer Service Offices:
- County of Brant customer service offices will be closed on Monday, August 4 and will re-open on Tuesday, August 5 at 8:30 am.
- Online chat will be unavailable at this time.
- A number of services are available online. Visit the Online Services webpage for a complete list.
- For urgent matters, call 519.44BRANT (519.442.7268), 1.855.44BRANT and stay on the line to be transferred.
County of Brant Community Centres and Arenas:
- Gaukel Memorial Community Centre and TF Warren Cainsville Community Centre are open on Saturday, August 2.
- Syl Apps community Centre and TF Warren Cainsville Community Centre are open on Sunday, August 3.
- All Community Centres are closed on Monday, August 4.
- Sports fields are open.
- Splash pads will be open.
- The Paris Community Pool will be open for regular hours on Saturday, August 2, Sunday August 3 and Monday, August 4.
County of Brant Public Library:
All County of Brant Public Library branches will be closed on:
- Sunday, August 3 and Monday, August 4.
- Regular hours resume Tuesday, August 5.

Garbage and Recycling:
- Regular curbside collection will occur on Monday, August 4.
- Please place your waste at the curb by 7:00 am.

Landfills:
- The Biggars Lane Landfill and the Paris Waste Transfer and Recycling Station will be open for regular hours on Saturday, August 2.
- Biggars Lane Landfill will be closed on Monday, August 4.

- Brant Transit will operate with regular service hours on Monday, August 4.
